The Event:
Running in its 4th year, Designphiladelphia is a series of events that encompass studio tours, lectures, exhibitions, workshops, book signings and (of course) parties that highlight just about every damned kind of design you can think of. Conceived by a number of really thoughtful local design visionaries, this year’s events will take place October 16th-22nd, 2008 and are sure to be a good time, as usual.
The Blog:
Once upon a time Philly By Design, this blog now uses the graciously offered identity components of Designphiladelphia as a means of both marketing the event and networking with locals passionate about design. The posts and pages here makes the rounds of Philly’s creative community while attempting to offer some info and insight along the way. Above all else, this blog might be thought of as a clearinghouse for design in the Philadelphia area… Or at least, that’s what it strives to be.
