From AIGA Philadelphia:

The Philadelphia Chapter of AIGA is showcasing the winners of it’s biannual design competition, Philadelphia Design Awards. International judges—Andrew Blauvelt, Creative director of The Walker Art Center, Robynne Raye of Modern Dog, Seattle; Design Army from Washington DC; Rick Valicenti of Thirst, in Chicago; Louis Gagnon, Paprika in Montreal, and renown illustrator, Mike Perry, NYC—have selected the best work from the Philadelphia design community. The Judges selected these works from a total of 400+ submitted entries—ranging from books, posters, catalogs, brochures, invitations, websites, and interactive design.

In conjunction with this year’s PDA exhibition, join us in celebrating the works of our past AIGA Philadelphia Fellows! The Fellows Award is given to a designer whose career and work has made an impact in the Philadelphia design community and beyond. This retrospective exhibition features the works of Hans Allemann, Frank Baseman, Laurie Churchman, Ken Hiebert, Joel Katz, Lanny Sommese and Alina Wheeler.

Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery, 333 South Broad Street

Exhibition runs June 6–30 with a closing reception and judges choice announcement on Friday, June 24 from 6–8pm.

Gallery Hours:
Monday–Friday 10–5, Saturday 12–4
